The holidays are just around the corner. If you are an active crafter like I am or if you are trying to find the perfect gift for your crafty loved on, here are some suggestions:
Paper Trimmer
This is a must have in any crafters toolset. Why? Well... we need to cut the cardstock at exact measurements. Not only does this paper trimmer has a cutting blade, but it has a scoring blade as well! For those of you who do not know what scoring is, it's the technique we use to create folds. The trimmer is easy to read and the blades glide like butter. I've had many paper trimmers in the past but this one is by far my favorite!
2. Stamparatus
Another MUST HAVE! You'll almost always see this on my project sheets. Stamping blocks are great but I always use my stamparatus to stamp sentiments. I'm not the best at stamping images with blocks, I usually don't press that hard or I stamp and it's uneven stamping. With this tool, you can add more ink to the stamped image without having to guess if the images are aligned. This tool comes with 2 magnets, rulers on 2 sides for quick measuring, 1 foam mat, 1 baes grid, Multiple hinges for more placement options. Compatible with rubber and photopolymer stamps. It's a lifesaver for me and totally worth it!
3. Bone Folder
Ahhh it's not what you think. It doesn't fold bones, it's a tool used to burnish edges of the folds and score cardstock. This tool gives crisp edges to any project!
4. Tuxedo Black Momento Ink Pad
The best black ink pad that I've ever used and believe me, I've tried many different ink pads but this one is the best. I love the coverage and that it works really well with alcohol markers.
5. Cardstock
I love cardstock, all different colors. Basic card colors are always appreciated by crafters. We use these as a base for our projects and so much more! Basic white is always welcome. Used for stamping or to add to the inside of cards for people to write in. You just can't have enough cardstock!
6. Stampin' dimensionals
I love doing 3D projects and these give my projects a pop-up feel to them. I can make one or a few things pop up from the rest of the card.
7. Sizzix Big Shot
I've had a cricut but rarely used it. I find that the Sizzix Big Shot allows me to place dies where I need them and cuts images with precision. Not to mention it also allows me to emboss! I am in the process of getting the Stampin Up Cut and Emboss machine as well! I can't wait to try it out!
8. Stamp pads
I'm new to stamping but I came to really love these stamp pads! They are used for general stamping or even watercoloring! The possibilities are endless!
9. Adhesive- I love them all! But there's one in particular that I've had since High School... Scotch tape runner. It's old but it still works, and I can't give it up! As they say, if it works, don't fix it!
I hope this list helps when you are creating your holiday wish list or if you are buying for your crafting loved one! No matter what, it's the thought that counts!
Wish you all a very happy holiday season!
Now, I'm going to get on crafting!
